City Peak Conveyancing is a licensed NSW conveyancer based in Canterbury-Bankstown, acting for buyers and sellers across the council area. Most of our work here involves CBD apartments, new duplexes, long-held family homes and inherited property, and each one carries different risks in the contract.
Canterbury-Bankstown is changing quickly. The Metro through Bankstown, the new Bankstown Hospital and the steady replacement of older homes with duplexes all show up in contracts, planning certificates and strata records. Knowing what is happening locally helps us spot problems early.

Why local knowledge matters here
A contract for a Bankstown apartment and a contract for a Revesby house on a large block need very different checks. In the CBD, the strata records matter most: building defects, special levies and the state of the capital works fund. In Padstow and Revesby, the planning certificate and old council approvals matter more, especially where a pool, granny flat or extension was added decades ago.
We read every contract with the local picture in mind, then explain in plain English what it means for you before you commit.
How we work
We handle most matters by phone and email, and settlement happens electronically through PEXA. If you want to meet, Marcelino will come to you by appointment, at home, at work or wherever is easiest.

Common questions
FAQs
Do you only work in Canterbury-Bankstown?
No. This is our home area, but we act on property anywhere in NSW. See areas we cover.
Can you help with a duplex I am buying in Padstow or Revesby?
Yes. We check the title type, the occupation certificate and the builder's insurance before you exchange. Read our guide to duplex title types in NSW.
I have inherited a house in Bankstown. Can you handle the sale?
Yes. We work with the executor or administrator and check that the right people can sign before the property goes to market.
Is the Bankstown Metro affecting property contracts?
It can. Properties near the station precinct may be affected by rezoning or development controls, which show up on the planning certificate. We check this as part of every review.
